Loved those sunrise memories - especially as Dean knew about them all along.
Author's Response: Thanks. The sunrise stuff kind of evolved from just watching to memories and then a hint of sadness and jealously from Dean, which I was pleased about, so thanks!

Your scenes of Sam sharing a sunrise with his dad, both of them silent, admiring, in sync was awesome. And then to follow through with memories of sunrises shared with Jess and Maddie as well were bitter sweet. And to top it all off, Dean knew about these shared experiences and respected his family enough to leave them as special shared privacy was poignant - outstanding writing. And THEN how wicked but clever of you that YED will deliberately misunderstand Dean's jealousy and use it against them i- its also sacreligious.
Author's Response: I'm just so evil that I really enjoyed writing the whole sunrise and trips down memory lane, making it painful for both brothers. Especially when there's so many moments they could have shared with loved ones. Awww... So to throw in some YED making plans as well was good :D Thanks so much!

Bringing up the memory of all the sunrises Sam had shared with special people throughout the course of his life was a nice touch. How clever! Using the tiny wedge of inadequacy that the demon exposed in Dean in the cabin to his advantage, yet agin.
Author's Response: I like sunrises and sunsets... and the chapter kinda made it's own way from Sam just wanting to escape the motel room for a little bit to a trip down memory lane - so I'm pleased you like it! And I thought hey, while I'm at it, let's make it so Dean knows about Sam and his Dad's time of no fighting! >:D 'Cause I'm mean that way.

Sam thought that Dean did know about him and their dad watching together sunrises when he was younger, Dean sounded hurted that John shared special moments with Sam and not him. The YED is meeting with a slender beauty and sounded very please with himself when he saw the little tension between the brothers. What's the demon's plan, can't wait to know. Riveting story so far Rae.

Great chapter! Why is Dean not feeling well? Poor Dean - isn't it the worst when you feel you are the odd man out? All alone 'cuz the other two have shut you out... Who is the athletic beauty? Is yellow eyes setting Dean up? More soon please!

I always thought possessed-John's statement to Dean about Sam's favoured status was worth exploring - so glad you are looking into it! Don't know why you were worried about this chapter. I enjoyed it, just as I always do!
