Loved this chapter...Laughing out loud at the 'Mr Tibbles'and now Dean's in sooo much trouble...
Author's Response: When writing tense and emotional chapters, well, it makes me tense and emotional so I like to break it up every now and again with funny moments... and Mr Tibbles was an idea I couldn't pass up... poor librarian.

I like in the beginning paragraph your explanation of Dean's pride toward Sam and how he expresses it. I also like the countdown format. It helps build the suspense. Like the demon, I'm also curious as to why Dean isn't burning.

Author's Response: *looks ashamed* I actually have several different reasons why he doesn't burn but to be honest... I haven't quite decided which one fits bet yet. One the ideas is far too Harry Potterish so I'll be ditching that one, lol. please don't hate me :D

Okay, rae, feeling better now......i was soooconfused back and forth thru time...but i reread all the other chapters now so I guess I'm straight again.......interesting very interesting........obviously YED just doesn't realize that OUR Dean is just TOO HOT to burn......!!
Author's Response: Yeah, time line was kinda confusing. Bad me, lol. I'm hoping that in the next couple of chapters I can get the past up to the present and then just have one timeline to focus on :) And you make a very good point about Dean just being too hot.

Sam is unconscious and Dean as well. I've the same question than the demon, why Dean didn't burn. Great story so far, I'm looking forward for more.

What an evil cliffie! Loved the image of Dean only partially covered by his crispy clothing - the boxers peeking out was a particularly nice touch.... What the he** does Dean have??? I want to know why too!!! Please, more soon?
Author's Response: The clothing was annoying me. I started wondering, even though Dean isn't burning, surely his clothes would, right? But as much as I would enjoy writing him naked, I had to leave him some dignity, so I comprimised and also left the colour of the boxes up to the reader :) He he - thanks!
