"Sam as Dean's conscience, Dean as the defuser of tense situations" beautifully stated. I love it that your YED has to be impatient with Dean because that's all he has - he can't manipulate him, control him, understand him. All he can do is play him through Sam. Love how your building the suspense and intrigue.
Author's Response: Once again - thanks. I nearly always see Sammy as Dean's conscience, bless 'em and well, Dean's always joking about. I love them! And you wanna get to Dean... you gotta do it using Sam... vice versa is true too. Poor Boys.

Awww...I love this brotherly stuff between them...it seems like they never have "moments" but it's always great when they do. And these monologues??? It's soooo the demon...crazy fugly freak...love how omnipotent you make him...great stuff...
Author's Response: I love brotherly moments... I never realised how much I loved them until I got in fanfiction but yeah.. I love watching, reading and writing them. :D I'm actually really twisted and the monologues - yeah I really enjoyed writing them :D I have a soft spot for the demon... in a weird sort of way. He did make the Winchesters who they are after all. I mean I don't like the guy... just... I like to hate him!

Great chapter and an awesome final paragraph. Let's look at it again! Dean and Sam Winchester were heroic. They were selfless and noble and righteous and there were some things that he’d never understand, like why John Winchester was so willing to give up his soul to save his eldest son. He sometimes wondered if the oldest Winchester knew something about this anomaly that was Dean; the one person that didn’t fit his pattern or plans, the one person that he was fast tiring of playing with and the one person that he wanted removing from the equation right now because even demons can become impatient.
Terrific writing, can't wait for more!
